Keith L. Sechler, CPA, CFP® is the Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Financial Planning, Inc., where he has been serving clients and leading our team for over 37 years. In 1977, Keith graduated with a degree in accounting from Case Western Reserve University. Once he achieved certification as a CPA, Keith began a seven-year stint at Arthur Andersen & Co.—one of the largest accounting firms at that time.
After several years of public accounting, Keith wanted to provide more personalized service by helping families plan for retirement. At the age of 31, with a second child on the way and no source of income, Keith started Keystone Financial Planning, Inc. Keith quickly completed the education and testing to attain his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Many clients who started with KFP back in the early years are still with us today.
Keith’s family includes his wife, Linda, two children and four grandchildren. His favorite pastimes are traveling, reading, exercising, growing in his Catholic faith, and trying new restaurants.
Keith still has that same fire and passion for financial planning as he had when he first started this business. He loves helping clients build a solid income stream for retirement and he can’t wait to get to work every morning.
